A five-acre mini horse farm in the Countryside Farms subdivision of Ocala recently sold for $977,000.

The 3,022-square-foot pool home, located at 7101 SW 93rd Street Road, went on the market on May 5 with a list price of $989,000 and was under contract in 28 days. The deal closed on Tuesday and was brokered by Stacy Larsson of Hudson Phillips Properties of Ocala.

The 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home was built in 1997 and last sold for $359,000 in June 2001. The listing cited “pride in ownership” and a “like-new feel” as it described recent improvements including a freshly painted interior, new base boards, updated kitchen, updated master bathroom, newly resurfaced wood burning fireplace, new garage doors with silent openers, new gutters, and a new roof in 2020.

The home boasts beautiful ceramic tile floors throughout, plantation shutters on all windows, and tile on the kitchen walls for easy cleaning. This home is ideal for entertaining, featuring a large screened-in pool deck with pavers leading to the solar heated, saltwater pool.

A large bonus room could be an in-law suite, office, or even a game room with a kitchenette, wine fridge, and a half bath. It even has its own separate access.

Outside the back door is the three-stall center aisle barn with rubber mats and a tack room with storage closets. There are two large paddocks with lush grass and automatic waterers that could be converted into four paddocks if needed.

The property is one of several large properties to hit the market in recent weeks. Here are some of the others:
